MUDÉJAR is the passion of meeting between earth and sky, soul and beauty, yearning and will. The emblematic mystery of the Mudéjar symbol is conyected to us in the form of an eight point star, which is latent in the light of its glass, in its pulsated strings, in its green shades of life and divine blues, that appear like messages in the clay, in the brick, in the special dishes in which we continue to delight. Miguel Angel Berna's show takes us through the recondite journey of our essence: the four rivers in Paradise (water, wine, milk and honey), the four seasons, the four cardinal points of our human dimension, the four secrets that follow us (time, history, world and life), the four phases of the evolution of being, the four pyramid sides .the square as the perfect form, symbol of God and of the human dimension, from what it result the double square as the maximal perfection, that the Mudéjar star shows us, an essence that is capped in the dance art of Miguel Ángel Berna, that synthesises the Mudéjar soul in a unique and marvellous element: the castanet.
